Happy Video from Different Parts of the World

by happyashley |
November 28th, 2009

Last October, Adrian, myself and several other friends went on a trip to Phuket. This was our first out of Malaysia trip with Digi Harinezumi. Surprisingly to myself, I took many many videos during our trip. For some unknown reason, taking videos is really easy and they actually make me feel happy! Which was really funny because I never felt the same way with my stupid old canon point-and-shoot which is rotting somewhere.

Anyway, I have been looking for inspiration to do some simple editing to the video before I post them up because seriously, I’ve never taken any videos before. What more editing them.

Here are some of videos which have inspired me:

Feature: MANHAND Music Video

by adrian |
November 8th, 2009

This reason I want to promote this video clip is:

1. It’s taken 100% by the digital harinezumi and directed by one of The *Click* Shop club member! Can you guess who?

2. It’s from a local group. I’ve never heard of them before but I believe they’ll do great. Great song they have there.

Great song + great music video = Malaysia boleh! So lets all show our support and vote for them in youtube! Maybe they’ll get noticed and be famous one day! And you can say that you were part of it…hehe

I don’t know what song this is because I can’t read chinese. LOL. But this Hip Hop bunch is called Manhand!

If you like them remember to vote for them in youtube!

You can also visit their official webbie. Would love to meet them one day!

What do you think of them?

Looking through Shahdi’s digital harinezumi pictures I feel shy to post my own. But no worries, I’m thick skinned, so I still post one day! But today is all about Shahdi and his pictures.

Looks like a hammerhead shark! I didn’t know Malaysia has any hammerhead sharks.

Yea… if you were wondering, the serial killer dude in the picture is him taken with a digital harinezumi + fisheye lens!

Great work with the digital harinezumi, the cili padi camera. Small but packs a big punch in the hands of a skillful photographer~

His featured pictures here were mainly taken on the digital harinezumi. Do visit his Flickr page for more pictures by Shahdi. Trust me it’s worth the click!

What do you think bout his work?

white digital harinezumi?

by adrian |
August 26th, 2009

There seems to be rumours floating around with regards to the white digital harinezumi. I’m not sure whether it is real, a hoax or it’s a pirated version of the superheadz digital harinezumi! There are people selling it at eBay though, and it’s pretty expensive US $250++. One thing I have to say is, it does look pretty good. Don’t take my word for it, take a look…

Digi Hari: Did you know?!

by adrian |
August 16th, 2009

What I’m about the reveal may spoil some lomography fun but if you haven’t heard from somewhere yet, you might as well hear it from here right?

dh_back

Yes we know the digi hari has no live view and the effect are pretty much random. What if I told you that you can on the live view and also control the effects to your liking? keke… it’s cool but like I said it will ruin the lomography fun. So pls try it at your OWN RISK!

3480196866_d386a62604

Step 1: Off your Digital Harinezumi

Step 2: Press and hold the shutter button, while holding power-up the Digital Harinezumi to enter R/B setting. It should state the software version and then give you two numbers – R:256 and B:256.

Step 3: Using the “menu” and “ok” buttons you can now change the R: number to change the red colour balance. By sliding the “slider” button you can switch between the red (R:) or blue (B:) values. You can try whatever colour combination that you like thru trail and error. In this mode, Live View isn’t turned-off!

Step 4: Just turn off the camera to reset the settings back to default!

We learn new things everyday! Have fun experimenting and remember to share your pics!

Arrival of the digital invasion…

Digital Harinezumi

Finally it’s here, the camera of two worlds, Digital Harinezumi. It’s a hybrid between a digital camera and an analog camera. Hybrid between a still picture camera and a movie maker. It captures analog pictures into digital format. It captures old film camera styles in .avi. Truly a camera of two worlds.

“This tiny movie camera will inspire filmmakers from around the world, with its melancholic image quality. It also is the successor to the toy camera analog feel. The Digital Harinezumi is the camera that brings pleasure back to digital photography.” – Superheadz
