D. FAQ for the Digital Harinezumi

Q. Why is it called the Digital Harinezumi? 
A. At first we were planning to digitalize the Harinezumi Camera from the first generation of our 110 film ‘Animal Camera’ analog camera series, that’s how we came up with its name. Its shape also resembles that of a 110 film, don’t you think?

Q. Black spots appear when I try to take pictures of the sun, is this normal? 
A. There is a chance of black spots appearing when shooting objects like the sun. This is resulted from the design of the camera and therefore is not a sign of defect. To prevent this, try not to shoot towards the sun. Shooting the sun can actually damage the camera.

Q. Red and blue hues appear during recording, is this normal? 
A. We have designed this camera in order to achieve this effect. This is not a defect. This camera is not designed for precise capturing.

Q. The LCD monitor does not show the preview when I am trying to take a picture. Is this normal? 
A. We have purposely made it this way so that you would not know exactly what you are taking until you pressed the shutter. Please enjoy the anticipation of not knowing what kind of pictures you will get!

Q. It is out of focus. I always get blurred pictures. 
A. We have designed this camera in order to achieve this effect. This is not a defect. This camera is not designed for precise capturing.

Q. Is there any internal memory in this camera? 
A. No. Please purchase a MicroSD card (Up to 2GB recommended) separately.

Q. What kind of battery does it use? 
A. The CR2. Rechargeable batteries are available in the market. Please visit electronic appliance stores or big camera shops for more details.

Q. How many pictures can I take? 
A. About 1600 in the Hi-resolution mode on a 2GB card. For video recording, it is about 2 hours.
