before finally meeting one who has actually been there!

I know there are many many DIY cameras but it wasn’t until recently that I manage to get my hands on one. Or rather I borrowed stole it from someone *cough cough .. Adrian*
Fixing a camera sounds totally fun and I thought it was a piece of cake. Like fixing lego. But I was super wrong.
The manual was in Japanese and I’m a total Japanese noob. So I had to survive with just the illustration. Thank god they drew out every single step. Buuuut, part of the illustration is a bit “curut” (inaccurate). So I cheated and googled it.
Overall : It was Super Fun and ermmm…. I took 3 freaking hours to fix it.

Happy Video from Different Parts of the World
by happyashley |Last October, Adrian, myself and several other friends went on a trip to Phuket. This was our first out of Malaysia trip with Digi Harinezumi. Surprisingly to myself, I took many many videos during our trip. For some unknown reason, taking videos is really easy and they actually make me feel happy! Which was really funny because I never felt the same way with my stupid old canon point-and-shoot which is rotting somewhere.
Anyway, I have been looking for inspiration to do some simple editing to the video before I post them up because seriously, I’ve never taken any videos before. What more editing them.

[Pimp My Cam] Starry Starry Hari!~
by happyashley |While I was studying for my exam painting my nails, a brilliant idea striked me! Why don’t I pimp my Digi Hari with nail polish? So here is what I did to my Digi Hari.
Step 1: You will need the following items
- Digital Harinezumi
- Nail Polish (I prefer glittery ones coz I’m trying to make a Starry Starry Hari!)
- Nail Polish Remover
- Some Stickers (The thicker/plastic-ky the better because some nail polish might seep through if its not water proof enough)
- Pen knife
- Pencil / Pen

Its a camera. Really! Look carefully at the picture below… Nikkor Lenses attached okey. Don’t play play. But if you play in Malaysia, confirm masuk lokap. The police wouldn’t know that its a camera because it really looks like some kind of funky gun. Not that it is for sale here anyway.
More about the camera
Name is Doryu 2-16.
The owner of the particular camera shown in the picture is Mr. Ryu Koakimoto-san (Ex-sniper. Policeman not Assassin ya!).
Although the camera looks pretty cool (ironically because its not your typical camera), its not really a good camera. But it does have a built in flash. Uber cool to show off except that it would cost a bomb to own one. It was auctioned at LiveAuctioneer with a starting bid of €6000.
