… my first DIY camera!!~

gakken1

I know there are many many DIY cameras but it wasn’t until recently that I manage to get my hands on one. Or rather I borrowed stole it from someone *cough cough .. Adrian*

Fixing a camera sounds totally fun and I thought it was a piece of cake. Like fixing lego. But I was super wrong.

The manual was in Japanese and I’m a total Japanese noob. So I had to survive with just the illustration. Thank god they drew out every single step. Buuuut, part of the illustration is a bit “curut” (inaccurate). So I cheated and googled it.

Overall : It was Super Fun and ermmm….  I took 3 freaking hours to fix it.
*tee hee hee* :) :P :)

abbie: I had the same problem with the shutter as well. i took 30 minutes trying to figure it out on my own without googling… and then I gave up… and found this video. Really helpful!

massy: I think both sides is the same. :) I think i used the one with double layer protective screen (blue) one on top. you might want to spare a cloth to wipe out your finger print before you cover the top.
